The roll call vote at the Democratic National Convention on Tuesday felt more like a huge dance party.
While Vice President Kamala Harris and Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz had already been confirmed as the party’s presidential and vice presidential nominees through an earlier virtual vote, the DNC decided to retain the tradition of a convention floor roll call that this year turned into more of a ceremonial celebration.
